Ep. #33 — Why Do I Keep Repeating the Same Patterns at Work?
Changing jobs or starting over can give you a different environment. But what happens when you haven’t had time to understand what you’re carrying into the next opportunity?
In this episode of The Ronni Resonance, I share how reflection, self-trust, and integration are changing the way I make decisions about my work.

ABOUT THIS EPISODE
For a long time, owning my own spa felt like the most reliable way to work on my terms. I’d had difficult experiences in other salons and spas, and I knew how to work hard and figure things out myself.
But as the responsibilities of running the spa became heavier, I sometimes imagined how nice it would be to use my skills in someone else’s business without carrying everything alone. I hadn’t fully recognized yet what I wanted to change.
Closing the physical spa gave me time to explore what I wanted to carry forward: mentoring, teaching, consulting, and creating resources that support other people. It also helped me understand what I wanted my everyday life to look like.
Now, conversations about a possible larger role with a business I’ve been consulting for are giving me a chance to put that understanding into practice. I can appreciate the opportunity while asking honest questions about its responsibilities, schedule, and fit.
This is where integration matters. What I’ve learned about myself is influencing what I’m willing to agree to—and what I’m able to say out loud while the outcome is still uncertain.

If you have a decision or opportunity in front of you, we can explore it together in a one-on-one Clarity & Alignment session.
We’ll look at what you want, what your past experiences are bringing into the decision, and what you need to clarify before taking your next step or having a conversation.
CONTINUE THE CONVERSATION
In an earlier episode, I shared the story of getting kicked out of the first salon I worked in after trying to leave—and how that experience shaped the way I handled change.
That conversation explores the pattern. This episode looks at how I’m practicing a different response today.
