I’ve built, outgrown, rebuilt, and reinvented more than once.

I’m Ronni Scharre — personal development mentor, business consultant, educator, and founder of The True Indigo Method.

I help people understand themselves more deeply, trust what they know, and create lives and businesses that feel true to who they are — not just who they’ve been expected to be.

Hi, I’m Ronni.

I’ve never had a perfectly linear career and I’ve stopped believing I was supposed to.

I started in the beauty industry as a teenager and spent the next decade-plus building businesses, working with clients, leading teams, educating professionals, consulting, creating experiences, and continually figuring out what success actually meant to me.

I’ve built things I was incredibly proud of. I’ve walked away from things I once thought I wanted forever. I’ve started over more than once. And I’ve had seasons where, from the outside, everything looked perfectly fine while internally I knew something had changed.

For a long time, I thought growth meant figuring out what I wanted and finally getting there.

Now I understand it differently.

Sometimes growth means building. Sometimes it means staying. Sometimes it means admitting that something you worked incredibly hard for no longer fits the person you’ve become.

Learning to recognize the difference has shaped nearly everything I do today.

True Indigo wasn’t created from a perfect plan.

It evolved with me.

My career began in esthetics. I built my first clientele inside someone else’s salon, worked across spas, salons and beauty retail, eventually opened my own spa, grew it, merged it with another business, became a partner, and later made the difficult decision to leave.

Then I started again.

True Indigo became my next chapter — first through skincare, wellness, education and a physical practice of my own. Over time, it expanded into something much bigger than what happened inside a treatment room.

Because I was changing too.

I became increasingly interested in the person underneath the business, the career, the relationships, the expectations and all of the identities we collect throughout our lives.

And eventually I had to confront that in my own life.

I realized I had created another version of success that made sense for who I had been — but didn't completely resonate with who I was becoming.

Closing the physical chapter of my business required me to do something I had spent years learning how to do:

listen to myself before I had all the answers.

I didn’t know exactly what the next version would look like. I just knew I couldn’t keep building a life around something simply because I had already invested so much into becoming it.

That transition ultimately helped me recognize something I hadn’t seen before.

There was a process underneath nearly every major transition I had navigated.

And that process became The True Indigo Method.

More Than a Decade of Learning, Building & Evolving

My work today may look different from where I started, but none of it was wasted.

Since beginning my career in 2011, I’ve worked across beauty, wellness, education, entrepreneurship, leadership, sales, marketing and business development.

I’ve worked for other businesses, built clientele from scratch, founded businesses of my own, managed teams, navigated partnership, developed services and experiences, trained professionals, represented skincare brands, consulted within wellness businesses and rebuilt my own work more than once.

Every chapter gave me another perspective on people, business, identity and change — and I bring that collective experience into the work I do today.

Business + Leadership

Hands-on experience with operations, marketing, sales, client experience, events, service development, team leadership, brand strategy and business consulting.

None of it was as random as it felt at the time.

For years, I looked at the different chapters of my life and career as separate experiences.

Now I can see the pattern.

Before almost every meaningful change, I became aware that something wasn’t working.

I had to reflect instead of immediately trying to fix it.

I had to separate what genuinely resonated with me from what I had learned to want, tolerate or expect from myself.

I had to develop enough inner authority to make decisions without needing everyone else to understand them.

And then came the hardest part: actually integrating what I knew into the way I lived.

Eventually, I realized I had been moving through the same process again and again.

Awareness → Reflection → Resonance → Inner Authority → Integrated Alignment

That process became The True Indigo Method — a framework for navigating change, reconnecting with yourself and creating an external life that more honestly reflects who you are internally.

What Guides My Work

I don’t believe my role is to hand you the answers to your life. Whether I’m mentoring someone personally, consulting with a business or facilitating a group, my goal is to help people see more clearly, understand what’s underneath the surface and make decisions they can actually stand behind.

Self-Trust Over Outside Approval

Guidance should help you hear yourself more clearly — not make you dependent on someone else to tell you what to do. I want you to leave our work trusting yourself more than you did when you arrived.

Whole-Person Perspective

We don’t exist in separate boxes. Identity, relationships, career, business, confidence, nervous-system safety and personal growth can all influence one another. I’m interested in understanding the whole picture, not just fixing the most obvious symptom.

Tools, Not Rules

I love frameworks, reflective practices and self-discovery tools because they can give us language for things we already sense but haven’t been able to articulate. I use them to create awareness and conversation — never as rigid instructions for who someone should be or what they should do.

There’s more than one way to work with me.

True Indigo has evolved into an ecosystem of personal development, education, consulting and experiences — because transformation doesn’t always happen in the same setting.

Personal Development

One-on-one guidance rooted in The True Indigo Method for seasons of transition, identity shifts, self-discovery, confidence, decision-making and integration.

This work isn’t about becoming a completely different person. It’s about understanding yourself well enough to recognize what feels true — and building from there.

Business Consulting

I bring years of entrepreneurship, spa ownership, operations, marketing, client experience and business development into practical consulting for entrepreneurs, beauty professionals, spas and wellness businesses.

We can work through strategy, offers, client experience, operations, positioning, growth or the bigger question underneath all of it: Does the business you’re building still support the life you actually want?

Workshops + Group Experiences

Interactive workshops, guided circles, educational experiences, private gatherings and speaking designed to create conversation, connection and meaningful self-discovery.

Experiences can be hosted for private groups, communities, businesses, organizations and events, with topics customized to the people in the room.

The Becoming Sanctuary

For those who want ongoing connection, reflection and support, The Becoming Sanctuary is the community side of True Indigo — a space for women navigating growth, change and the ongoing process of becoming.

Beyond the work…

I’m someone who has always wanted to understand why.

Why do we repeat certain patterns? Why can something look right on paper and still feel wrong? Why do we stay after we know we’ve outgrown something? Why are we drawn to certain people, careers or versions of ourselves? And how much of what we think we want actually belongs to us?

That curiosity has led me through psychology, personal development, spirituality, business, nervous-system work, self-discovery tools and plenty of rabbit holes along the way.

Outside of True Indigo, I’m a wife, dog mom, podcast host, former spa owner, lifelong learner and chronic researcher who will probably always have another book, idea or project somewhere nearby.

And despite everything I’ve learned, I don't believe personal growth is about reaching some final, perfectly healed version of yourself.

I think it's about becoming aware enough to recognize yourself, trusting yourself enough to honor what you find, and giving yourself permission to keep evolving.

You don’t need to have everything figured out to start listening to yourself.

Maybe you’re navigating a personal transition. Maybe your career or business doesn’t fit the way it once did. Maybe nothing is technically “wrong,” but you can feel something shifting underneath the surface.

You don’t need to know exactly where it’s leading before you begin exploring it.
