Business Consulting That Looks Beyond the Business
Strategy, alignment, systems, and thoughtful growth for entrepreneurs, service-based businesses, estheticians, spa owners, wellness professionals, and evolving brands.
Sometimes the problem isn't that you need to do more.
Sometimes you need to look at the business differently.
Maybe your services have outgrown the way they were originally structured.
Maybe your pricing no longer makes sense.
Maybe you're opening a spa and there are a hundred decisions that somehow all depend on each other.
Maybe you have a team but no consistent training or operating systems.
Maybe your business is technically working, but the way you're running it isn't sustainable anymore.
Or maybe you've changed — and your business hasn't caught up yet.
That is where consulting can help.
My role is not to hand you a generic business formula. It's to understand what you're building, identify where things are unclear or disconnected, and help you create a more intentional way forward.
Who I Work WithMy consulting and professional education work is especially suited for:
Entrepreneurs and small business owners
Personal brands and service-based businesses
Creatives, educators, mentors, and consultants
Businesses navigating a pivot, rebrand, or evolution
Solo estheticians
Spa and salon owners
Esthetics practices
Wellness businesses
Emerging spa concepts
Service-based entrepreneurs
Beauty professionals navigating a pivot or expansion
Businesses developing new services, teams, systems, or client experiences
You do not have to be opening a large spa to work with me.
Sometimes the project is a full business buildout.
Sometimes it is one service menu, one pricing decision, one training day, or one business problem that needs another set of experienced eyes.
Areas We Can Work On
Hands-On Esthetics + Spa Training
Consulting does not always need to happen behind a laptop.
I also offer hands-on professional training for solo estheticians, spa teams, and beauty businesses that want more individualized education.
Training can be developed around the needs of the provider or business and may include areas such as:
Facial techniques and treatment flow
Consultation and skin analysis
Product application and layering
Facial massage
Advanced Mask and exfoliation techniques
Dermaplaning & advanced modalities
Creating a more intentional treatment experience
Service consistency across a team
Client education and home-care recommendations
Retail confidence without high-pressure selling
Treatment-room efficiency and setup
Service protocols and standards
Training around a new service or product line
For spas, training can also be connected to a larger consulting engagement so that the systems being created behind the scenes are actually translated into the way the team works with clients.
For solo estheticians, training can be completely individualized around the areas where you want more confidence, refinement, or support.
I've Seen This Industry From More Than One Side
I became a licensed esthetician in 2012, but my experience in the beauty industry has never existed in just one treatment room.
Over the years I have worked as an esthetician, built a clientele, operated independently, owned and expanded spa businesses, employed and mentored beauty professionals, trained providers, developed services and protocols, worked with product lines, managed client experience, navigated business transitions, and eventually closed a business I had outgrown.
That matters to the way I consult.
I understand the creative side of building something you believe in.
I also understand payroll, pricing, providers, inventory, client expectations, training, systems, margins, exhaustion, growth, and the reality that a good idea still has to function in the real world.
Today, I bring those experiences together through True Indigo Consulting — helping other professionals build businesses more intentionally than I sometimes had the opportunity to while I was figuring it out myself.
Not Sure Where to Start?
For when you need more than a quick answer — you need dedicated time to actually look at the business, untangle what is happening, and determine what makes sense next.
The Business Strategy Intensive is a focused 90-minute private consulting session designed around your most pressing business challenge, decision, transition, or area of growth.
You may come in wanting to:
realign a brand that no longer feels like you
clarify your message or positioning
bring multiple offers or areas of expertise under one cohesive brand
navigate a rebrand or professional evolution
figure out how to communicate a business pivot to your audience
restructure or simplify your services
rethink your pricing or offers
work through a business pivot
evaluate what is and is not working
clarify your positioning or direction
improve your client experience
explore growth or expansion
make a decision you have been going back and forth on
figure out what needs to change when the business no longer feels sustainable
create a clearer plan for what comes next
The challenge does not have to be purely operational — this session can also be used when your business, brand, professional identity, and personal evolution are beginning to intersect.
Before we meet, you’ll complete an intake so I can understand your business, what you are currently navigating, and what you want to accomplish during our time together.
During the Intensive, we’ll look at the situation from both a strategic and practical perspective, identify what deserves your attention first, and create a more intentional path forward.
You’ll leave with greater clarity around the decisions in front of you and concrete next steps you can begin implementing.
Looking for Ongoing Beauty Industry Mentorship?
The Becoming Sanctuary
Not every professional question requires private consulting.
The Becoming Sanctuary also includes a space specifically for estheticians and beauty professionals who want access to continued education, conversation, and mentorship without committing to a private consulting engagement.
Inside the beauty-industry side of the Sanctuary, members can access an expanding training library covering topics related to esthetics, client experience, business, professional development, and the realities of building a career in the beauty industry.
I also host monthly beauty-industry mentorship calls, creating space to bring questions about your career, clientele, services, business, confidence, boundaries, professional growth, or whatever you are currently navigating.
And because you are a whole person before you are a business owner or beauty professional, Sanctuary members also have access to broader monthly mentorship conversations around the things that affect the rest of life too — identity, relationships, transitions, self-trust, careers, boundaries, and becoming who you are outside of your work.
You do not have to separate your professional growth from your personal growth.
Sometimes they are connected.
Build the Business. Support the Person Running It.
There is no single right way to build a business.
There is only the question of whether the business you are creating actually supports your goals, your clients, your team, your values, and the life you want it to exist within.
Whether you need one strategic conversation, professional esthetics training, a larger spa-development project, or ongoing industry mentorship, we can start by figuring out what kind of support actually makes sense.
